Alaskan Expedition 2027

Limited to 3 | June 2027

Let’s get one thing out of the way: this is not a photoshoot. It’s not a retreat. It’s an expedition… and it’s documenting you.

Four days where no one needs anything from you.

No lunches to pack, schedules to manage, or expectations to meet.

Just great company, mountain passes, relaxed hikes, glacial exploration, and that particular courage that only arrives when you say yes to something that feels a little wild.

And space – real space – to remember who you are when life stops asking for pieces of you.

WHO IS THIS FOR

This expedition is craving the opportunity to do something extraordinary.

The person who has spent years showing up for everyone else and is finally ready to be somewhere that asks nothing in return except presence.

Someone that wants to stand on a glacier, sip coffee outdoors at sunrise with the Chugach mountains in the distance, and wants to see what she’s capable of when the ordinary falls away.

If you’re still reading, that’s you.

WHY ALASKA?

Alaska puts things into perspective. Everything is grand and gorgeous.

The mountains are all-encompassing; they feel like a hug. And it’s impossible to stand on a glacier and not remember that there’s a much bigger world than the one you’ve been carrying on your shoulders.

That’s exactly why this isn’t happening down the road from home. We have to travel to have that transition and really recalibrate, put ourselves into an open mindset and be willing to see with a new perspective.

BASECAMP

Not a hotel, not a resort. A home.

The basecamp is a private house tucked into the Anchorage hillside with views of the Chugach Mountains and it’s where this expedition begins.

There’s a hot tub for the nights we get back too tired to talk but aren’t ready to pause the fun, a sauna to warm up after the glacier outing, a porch to sip coffee and connect after breakfast, and a kitchen where we’ll cook together and talk about the day.

This is not incidental. The basecamp is part of the experience. The dinners around the table, the laughter at midnight when it still looks like 7pm, the quiet mornings before the adventure begins — those moments become part of the story just as much as the glacier does.

Most expeditions take you somewhere extraordinary. This one brings you home to yourself while you’re there.

THE EXPEDITION

June 14-17, 2027

Anchorage, Alaska

Limited to 3 expedition participants and 2 adventure guests.

MONDAY, JUNE 14 – ARRIVAL

You land in Anchorage. We settle into the expedition basecamp, a beautiful private home, tucked into the Anchorage hillside with views of the Chugach Mountain Range.

A slow afternoon. We’ll pack and relax.

Dinner in Anchorage together or a cozy evening at basecamp. We’ll decide as a group. Hot tub after. This is where it begins.

TUESDAY, JUNE 15 – THE GLACIER

The centerpiece of the expedition.

We drive to the helicopter and ATV base. Those joining the ground-based experience meet their ATV guide, gear up, and to head into the Knik Glacier area for their own extraordinary evening.

The rest of us hit the sky.

Five hours of ice. Multiple landings, time to explore, time to absorb the scale of it all. Portraits happen here, woven naturally into the experience. Not posed and rigid but full of movement and exhilarating energy.

Just you, the ice, and that particular quiet that only exists in places this far from ordinary life.

We return to basecamp late, but with the sun still shining. Sauna or hot tub, we’ll reminisce about our adventures.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 16 – THE PASSES

A slower, more grounding day.

We head out mid-morning and drive north from Anchorage through mountain passes with views that don’t seem real. We stop wherever the landscape calls us. Portraits unfurl naturally as we explore.

This is the day that will surprise you most. The glacier may be the centerpiece but being in the mountains are earthy and raw and real in a completely unexpected way.

Adventure guests join for all of this day and have the opportunity to step in front of the camera, too, if they like.

THURSDAY, JUNE 17 – DEPARTURE

(maybe… read on… )

Coffee. Journaling. Easy walks.

A soft, unhurried morning before everyone heads home. One final opportunity for portraits at basecamp or somewhere nearby.

I highly suggest booking a later flight to give us the chance to make the most of our time together.

FRIDAY, JUNE 18 – STAY A LITTLE LONGER

You’re already in Alaska, stay and join me as we stay on the Kenai Peninsula, hopping aboard a boat for an adventure to Kenai Fjords National Park. We’ll see wildlife and enjoy coastal views for two more extraordinary days.

WHAT YOU WALK AWAY WITH

Welcome package delivered one month before departure (with socks for hiking, travel mug for those early Alaskan mornings, custom luggage tag so yorubas knows where it’s gong even when you feel a bit uncertain, expedition journal for you to make notes along the adventure… )

Expedition photo journal documenting the journey from arrival to departure. The whole story. This isn’t your intimate portraits, this is a behind-the-scenes documentary, this is the proof that you said yes.

Print credit toward your print collection, boxed prints, or album

You’ll fly home with incredible portraits, but that’s not the point. The point is becoming the woman who was willing to go and known, from that moment, that she always existed.

THE ADVENTURE GUEST EXPERIENCE

Bring your person, your personal cheerleader.

An adventure guest joins the expedition fully: basecamp, ground transportation, group dinner, mountain pass exploration, and their own glacial adventure via an ATV tour while the expedition group is on the helicopter outing.

Adventure guests also have the opportunity to step in front of the camera during the secondary shoot day.

This is perfect for sisters, best friends, adult daughters, or partners that want to share the experience without participating in the full portrait intensive.

Room for only 2 adventure guests.

WHAT MAKES THIS AN EXPEDITION?

This is a four-day experience where you join me in making decisions about where we go, what we do, and where portraits happen from a curated list I’ve created.

Logistics are handled. The adventure is real.

Everything about this is built around the belief that the most powerful portraits happen inside genuine experience, when we say yes to something new. When we step into courage.

The glacier doesn’t know you’re nervous and the mountains don’t care if you’ve never done anything like this before. Alaska simply holds space for whoever shows up.

You don’t need to be brave first. The bravery comes after the yes.

YOUR EXPEDITION

The easiest way to think about this: $500 reserves your spot today.
The remaining balance is split into manageable monthly payments, with everything complete by April 15, 2027.

Expedition Participant — $5,300
Includes everything listed above. Portrait collections begin at $2,800 — your $1,000 print credit applies.

Adventure Guest — $3,800
Includes lodging, transportation, ATV glacier tour, group experiences, and a portrait session during the secondary shoot.

Booking early is encouraged — not just for logistics, but because this experience starts before we ever land in Alaska. We’ll meet for coffee at least once before departure so you arrive knowing each other.

FAQ

Do I need to be physically fit?
The glacier day involves some walking on uneven terrain. The mountain pass day is easy. If you have any concerns, just ask — we’ll go over any specific concerns you may have.

What if I’ve never done anything like this?
Good. You don’t need to be adventurous before Alaska. Sometimes Alaska is where becoming adventurous begins.

Can I join alone?
Absolutely! You’ll arrive knowing the others from our pre-trip coffee gathering.

What should I pack?

A full packing list is sent via email after booking. Along with all the must-know info so it’s all in one place.

When is the deadline to book?
The earlier the better — not just for logistics, but because the experience starts before we land. Reach out and we’ll talk through timing.

NOT QUITE READY?

Can’t stop thinking about it but not ready to commit?

Message me! We’ll talk through everything and see if it’s a good fit for you or if an adventure nearer to home is what makes the most sense.

READY?

This is limited to only 3 participants and 2 adventure guests.

Once it’s full, it closes. There is no second group, no extension, no waitlist.

This is it.

You don’t have to become adventurous before coming to Alaska.
