I always thought being a “brand ambassador” for a company meant being a pushy salesman and discount codes. But being a Lilac & Fern Ambassador meant growth, community, and building people up.
My ambassador year has been one of many adventures. Both here in Idaho and in Colorado. It’s been seeing my body change, and learning to love it every step of the way. It’s meant building friendships with people I otherwise would have never even met.
Being chosen to represent Lilac & Fern has been such an honor. But meeting all the other ambassadors, the other creatives around Nicole, everyone who came to our event, all of that was the real reward. And doing multiple shoots throughout the year has allowed me to physically see myself go from sad girl who starved herself for a boy, to a powerful woman who knows her worth and accepts herself.
Being an ambassador and getting to do multiple shoots also allowed my creativity to flow. Nicole invited us to step into the “creative director” role and theme our own shoots. She challenged me to think outside the box and to be creative alongside her.
It was an experience unlike any other and brought so much joy and adventure to my life. ?-Kelly
