Idaho Springs Intimate Portraits | Miss A
“As the end of the year looms I can’t help but reflect back on all the experiences I’ve had this year. My top memories include; mountain hangs, hot springs, boating, camping, concerts, and of course all things L&F ambassador related. It’s been a pretty epic year, and my journey as a BA is just getting started!
Once again Nicole managed to push me outside my comfort zone. So of course magic was made! I opted for hair and makeup for this shoot and man was that a Godsend. Nothing about my morning went as planned, so it was a MAJOR relief that I didn’t have to stress about doing my own HMU. I’m pretty confident in everyday looks but Nicole’s vision for this shoot was ultra-glam! Who doesn’t love a good makeup over? Kimmi at ‘Ohana created a beautiful long braid, which unintentionally has kind of become my signature hairstyle for my L&F sessions. Jessie aka Joyfuljessie did my makeup and slayed the whole vibe Nicole was looking for.
I can’t speak highly enough about opting for HMU, it really sets the tone for the type of day you’re going to have and gives you a mega confidence boost.
As previously mentioned nothing was going right this day and the drive to the studio was no exception. But I’m here to tell you that once you step in front of Nicole’s camera all previous stress fades away. It’s kind of miraculous actually. I had a million thoughts running through my mind and not all positive but I stripped down almost instantly for a group photo and that was it. Time to put the worry behind, have some fun and own the theme. This was only my second time shooting inside and I was nervous but also excited to get some white sheet photos.
I’ve never really been a statement necklace type of gal but I’ve always appreciated the look they give. Probably subconsciously thinking I could never pull something off so dramatic. Shopping for these statement pieces was super fun and even more, fun getting photographed in them. I paired burgundy gems with my emerald Else bodysuit and also some ivory and pearls. Oh, la la. I’m excited to have some new items to add to my wardrobe!”
Cheers!
