1. Holy smokes, I look STUNNNING.

2. Nicole is some type of photography magician. (I mean, we already know this but I was reminded.)

3. For the first time, I think ever, I was not nit-picking every tiny detail of these photos.

I wasn’t hyper focused on the things that I shouldn’t pay any mind to. My eyes weren’t drawn to immediately examine how my tummy looked; I didn’t care if my hair was falling correctly or if my body was bending in a manner that made my skin fold. I was able to just appreciate the beauty of each and every moment captured. I sat & I stared… for like, a LONG time… dumbfounded at the simple fact that, that was ME? What? Photos of me, and I’m not searching for flaws? Im not tearing them apart because of a face I’m making or the exposure of some aspect of my body that I’d like to keep a secret. I was (and am) completely blown away. So once again, I’m going to thank Nicole because what she and this past photo shoot has just done for me is HUGE.

So, Thank you Nicole. As mentioned previously, my body has been changing in ways I’m not comfortable with, and though I am back on the right track, you allowed me to appreciate the beauty of myself the way I am RIGHT NOW.”
