Nicole’s vision has led boudoir into a different light than its been classically seen. Expressing her vision of intimate portraits shows a softer more moody side of sensuality. The Sugarhill Studio perfectly reflected that vision in an indoor space. Capturing the natural lighting but offering a multi-use space for us to create in! The colors, props, and overall vibe was perfect. Nicole’s vision for this shoot was something glamorous and sparkly, which I was able to pull off thanks to my favorite little vintage shop here in Fort Collins, Wear it Again, Sam. Accessories are usually something that I would put to the wayside but this shoot made me realize how absolutely stunning jewelry looks in photos! It really elevated the whole experience, and made me feel incredibly lux. A little unexpected accessory I brought to the shoot were two vintage hats which were fabulous props, and just added an extra touch of character and helping me to mix the old pinup feel with Lilac & Fern’s modern and empowered concepts!
