The day of this shoot, the sky was dark, very dark. Fires raged just to the west and the smoke was oppressive. Ash fell like snow.
Fire represents destruction and rebirth. Both seem to be the theme of 2020 for so many, but especially Lady S. So it was only fitting that her second Lilac & Fern experience took place on one of the darkest, smokiest days of this fire season, only for the sky to clear days later as snow, actual snow, fell and created a clean blanket on the ground. A fresh start. Like the new beginning Lady S is creating for herself.
No matter what life hands her, she moves forward, more feisty and determined than before. Setting boundaries and growing. Clearing the way for greatness and making space for herself and what fuels her.
Be like her. Take no shit.
