“Be scared and do the damn thing anyway!” -Miss M herself!

Where do I begin with this boudoir session except to say that choosing what to share was such a task, I decided to break it up into TWO posts so I could share more.

When Miss M approached me with her vision, I knew immediately that the Sand Dunes were the only option for the location.  I mean, gold, fucking GOLD!  The only setting that could match that level of style is a field of sand and desert flora.  Nothing else could work.

So we scheduled it, got the make-up artist on board, planned the lingerie (which ended up coming off in the first 20 minutes), and made it happen.

From the moment Miss M arrived at the Lilac & Fern studio to have Brialee of Behrens Artistry style her, to the drive to the dunes, the shoot itself, and the drive back, we shared conversation like it was a girls’ trip.  We talked about everything from fellas, business, friendship, and even the current political situation.  It was refreshing and invigorating and so needed.  All of us have some changes in our lives that we’re sifting through and it felt great to be among like-minded women, all moving toward great things, embracing what we face with confidence and grit.
