When should I book my shoot?
Because intimate portraits are time-intensive, I offer a limited number of sessions each month and they fill quickly. Booking 3-4 months in advance is a great idea to ensure you get both a date that is best for your schedule and we can secure hair and make-up.
Who will see my photos?
Privacy is tops on my list so no one will see your images except you and I unless you sign a model release. And, even then, you have final say over what is shared.
Is hair and make-up included?
Professional hair and make-up is included in the Signature Outdoor and White Sheet sessions. Once you book your session with me, I’ll make your salon appointment so you simply have to show up and be pampered!
Preferred Salons for both hair & make-up: ‘Ohana Salon in Colorado.
Can I bring a friend?
Bringing a friend is absolutely allowed! Just make sure she’s supportive and helps you relax. Give me a heads up that you’ll be bringing her so I can be sure to make appropriate accommodations.
How many outfits should I bring?
It’s always a good idea to bring more than you think you’ll need/want. But we go over all of that at your private wardrobe planning appointment where I give you fit advice on pieces you already have, you can browse the Lilac & Fern Closet for pieces to borrow for your shoot, and shop Studio Déshabillée.
That said, after we go through everything, most have a solid idea of what they’ll bring the day-of but it is still a good idea to bring about 5 or 6 of your favorite sets/pieces that we’ve gone over so the day of the shoot, if you’re feeling more modest or bolder than you had expected, you’re prepared. Understand, though, that you’ll likely only wear 3-4 outfits.
Do you edit my photos?
I do minimal editing. However, I don’t alter body parts or offer other drastic edits as I believe you are gorgeous as you are and that your images should reflect just that: you.
When will I see my photos?
For all Colorado experiences, turnaround time is about 1-2 weeks. At which time we’ll do a virtual Ordering Appointment where you will see your images and place your order. (It’s important that all decision-makers are present and ready.)
For travel dates and adventure experiences, images will be ready about 2 weeks after I return to Colorado.
Do you offer payment plans?
At this time, with Square Installments unavailable because of the pandemic, I am unable to accommodate plans. But I do accept all major credit cards.
Do you travel?
Yes! I have scheduled trips to Boise, Idaho; Saratoga Springs, NY; and Boston, Massachusetts each year. A few fully curated events are offered each year at destinations like Great Sand Dunes, Moab, White Sands, and more. I am also available to travel specifically for you.
